Creating A Storyboard For Your Video Content In 10 Minutes
Let's say you're ready to create some killer video content—whether for social media, your eCommerce shop, or your website. If you think you can easily do it by ‘going with the flow,’ you’re wrong.
There’s one key you shouldn’t skip — creating a storyboard that lays it all out like those floor plan blueprints thieves use to plan their heists in movies.
Don’t worry, it wouldn’t take eons to build. Continue reading to learn how to whip up a storyboard in 10 minutes flat with ChatGPT and Canva:
STEP 1: Determine the objective and target audience for your video.
Define what your content’s purpose is. Is it for a product launch? A holiday? Who will be watching it?
This information should be finalized first so you can write a clear prompt for the next step.
STEP 2: Head to ChatGPT and enter this prompt.

Enter this prompt in ChatGPT.
STEP 3: Review your storyboard and modify anything you want to change.
This is what ChatGPT delivered for a storyboard for a cosmetic product launch in a bold red color for millennial audiences via a video that encourages consumers to express their uniqueness.

Sample ChatGPT outputs using the prompt above.
STEP 4: Generate images with Dall-E 3.
Upgrade to ChatGPT Plus to access Dall-E 3 and enter this prompt to generate images that match each frame of the storyboard.

Use this ChatGPT prompt to access Dall-E 3 and modify as needed.
STEP 5: Head to Canva and open a new design. Set it at a 16x9 inches ratio.

STEP 6: Go to ‘Elements’ and scroll down to ‘Grids’.

STEP 7: Click ‘See All’ and scroll down until you find this grid.

STEP 8: Add this grid to your project and resize it to just under half of the page. Then duplicate to get 10 grids in total. Make sure there is space below each grid to allocate for captions.

Your Canva project should be like this.
STEP 9: Add text fields in the spaces below each grid.

Your project should look like this.
STEP 10: Go back to ChatGPT and download the images generated by Dall-E 3. Upload everything in Canva and add each one to the project by dragging the images in the frames.
STEP 11: Copy the texts from the storyboard generated by ChatGPT and add them to the text fields.

Your project should look like this at this point.
STEP 12: Once you’re satisfied with the storyboard, download your Canva project as PNG or PDF and export it to your device.
There you have it, folks.
Now, I know it isn’t much and this storyboard is far from perfect, but this took me around 10 minutes to do.
I might be biased but this is a huge time saver compared to the previous way of creating storyboards.
When you find yourself using this hack, remember to have fun playing around and add your creativity whenever possible to add value to your content creation.
3 Ways To Write Perfect Prompts
We’ve all been there—having the most powerful AIs but feeling like you’re not getting the most out of it.
Believe me when I tell you this, but you only need prompt engineering. Entering the right prompt is key to getting AIs to write high-quality, relevant outputs.
Here are 3 techniques that will help you engineer the perfect prompt:
Role-Play: Ask AI to take on the persona of the expert that you would otherwise go to and consult with for your queries and requests if you didn’t have AI. For example, if you’re looking for insightful answers to your budgeting-related concerns, start your prompt with “You’re a financial advisor…” This should drive the AI system to generate context-specific insights and specialized knowledge and solutions.
Chain-of-Thought Prompting: When it comes to complex questions, like asking AI for its thoughts on a paradox or answers for a logic puzzle, you should let your AI system think in a more complex manner. The way to unlock this complex thinking in your AI is by getting it to break down its thought process. Simply add "Describe your reasoning step by step" at the end of the prompt and let it sequentially work through the problem.
Few-Shot Learning: Sometimes, less is more. Few-shot learning is where you provide the AI with a handful of examples to let it know about your desired output. Add “I’m looking for something like this,” and insert your samples when entering your prompt. This is best used when you’re using AI for generating product descriptions or idea brainstorming.
Remember, the key is to experiment with different approaches so you can find what works best for any specific need you have.
If you keep practicing, you'll be able to harness the full potential of your AI language model. After all, the goal is to use these tools productively and creatively.

OpenAI Japan Reveals ‘GPT-Next’
Believe it or not, ChatGPT just hit the 200 million active user mark! It’s officially the fastest software to reach the 100-200 million milestone as of the end of August.
I mean, are we even surprised? Everybody and their dog probably uses the chatbot. It could also be the reason why your meetings involve less awkward small talk—now that everyone’s busy using for everything possible.
When OpenAI blessed us with GPT-4o, I thought it would only get better from here. Then ChatGPT Mini came, and nobody was disappointed.
Now, the word on the street is that there’s something even bigger in the works—the "GPT Next" which could be 100 times more powerful. The vision is for ChatGPT to be at the forefront of creating ‘a world with AI.’
My advice? Buckle up and stay alert because the only thing moving faster than AI is the rate of our attention spans.
Potential ChatGPT Price Increase
I don’t know about you but I think it was reaching 200 million+ active users within 2 years of launching the ChatGPT mark that reminded OpenAI about an overdue potential price hike.
Did I expect their prices would stay the same? Yes (I thought they were dedicated enough to just helping society with their AI products that they would be altruistic and keep their prices). Then I remembered, they’re not open-sourced.
According to a source in the know (probably someone eavesdropping on a couple of gossipers in the OpenAI break room), these sky-high prices are all part of the internal talks at the AI tech giant.
The first thing that comes to mind is that they might need more to compensate for the data overload that comes with letting hundreds of millions of people chat with your AI for free. It might also be to bank enough resources that would help them stay ahead of Google and Anthropic in the competition.
ChatGPT might be leveling up, but your bank account may have to do the same if you want to continue using their products.

AI Concept Futurists Predict Humanity’s Future
This short film shows where humanity is headed 400 years from now. But just so you know, its content runs on the prediction made by AI concept futurists.
Spoiler alert: Some parts seem outlandish while others eerily hit close to home.
Produced by Amara Pictures, this 3-minute time-lapse film features life with AI deeply ingrained in society and way of life. Sure, there are parts that show our planet is doomed due to overconsumption, waste mismanagement, and resource greed, but that’s nothing new, right?
What’s interesting about it is how AI technology seems to be what the AI concept futurists predict to save us from our future apocalypse.
According to the film, we would merge with AI and upload ourselves to the digital realm to achieve total singularity. Sounds like a good movie, if you ask me.
In the grand finale of things, I think this film shows that even AI predicts that the future of humanity is bright at the end, regardless of how dark the journey may be.
